The App Store is not necessarily broken, but it does face challenges. Some developers have raised concerns about the App Store's policies and fees, claiming that they stifle competition and innovation. Additionally, there have been controversies surrounding Apple's control over the App Store and its impact on app developers. While the App Store continues to be a popular platform for app distribution, there are ongoing discussions about potential reforms to address these issues. **

Yes, App Store in-app purchases are linked to the app account. When a user makes an in-app purchase within an app, the purchase is tied to their app account, which is usually linked to their Apple ID or Google account. This allows users to access and restore their in-app purchases on multiple devices as long as they are logged in with the same account. **

Both the App Store and the Play Store have security measures in place to protect users from malicious apps, but the App Store is generally considered to be safer. This is because Apple has stricter guidelines for app approval and a more rigorous review process, which helps to prevent the distribution of harmful apps. Additionally, Apple's closed ecosystem and control over hardware and software make it more difficult for malware to infiltrate. However, both stores can still be vulnerable to security threats, so it's important for users to exercise caution and use security measures such as antivirus software and app permissions. **

Additionally, the app may be in development or undergoing review by Apple before being made available in the App Store. It's also possible that the app is only available through alternative app distribution methods, such as direct download from the developer's website. **
